How do we make a booking?
After you have contacted me to confirm my availability for your wedding date I will arrange to meet with you so you can meet me, tell me more about your wedding and also let you view more of my work and my sample albums.

Once you are ready to make a confirmed booking I require a signed booking form and a non-refundable deposit of £250.

How far will you travel?
Although I am based in Glasgow all my prices include travel throughout mainland Scotland. I will advise you before you make a booking of any estimated costs for additional expenses if you require me to travel further afield or if overnight accommodation is necessary. Other than these there are no additional, hidden costs in my prices.

Will you visit our venue before our wedding?
I always visit your venue closer to your wedding. I often arrange to meet you there to discuss your wedding photography in finer detail.

Is it you who will photograph our wedding?
Absolutely. I am passionate about my style of photography and take great strides to maintain it. If I’m not prepared to compromise this then I don’t see why you should either.

How long will you photograph at our wedding?
I don’t predetermine how many hours I shoot for. This is determined by each individual wedding. However all my packages begin a couple of hours before the start of the ceremony when I document the preparations and build-up. When I finish is dependent on which package you book and can be anything from when you sit for a meal to the first rounds of dancing.

Will you take some formal photographs?
Yes but I recommend you limit your group shots to about 6-8, which should take about 20 mins of your time on the day. I then allow a further 20mins for some relaxed and natural bride and groom portraits.

A common observation amongst couples is how quickly their wedding day passes. Limiting the time you spend on formal photography allows you both to relax have a glass of champagne and enjoy the occasion. It’s your day to spend celebrating with your guests and not spending hours performing for a photographer. In my experience the best way for me to document your wedding is if I’m free to become involved as the day naturally unfolds.

Can you explain what a copyright package is?
My copyright (or Digital) packages provide you with a master, copyright DVD of your images. These are all professionally processed, high-resolution; print ready digital files, which come in both colour and black and white. As you own the images you have complete flexibility in their use and can freely distribute as you wish.

What are your albums and do we have any control over our album content and design?
These are 12x12 inch leather-bound, storybook albums. From your copyright disc you select the images you want in your album.  I then individually design a layout to best suit your choice of images. Once your layouts are complete I send you proof pages for you to inspect, which allows you to make any amendments,  before it is sent for printing and binding. Cover options include either a leather finish or image-wrap. Your completed album comes in a beautifully crafted presentation box.
